About Us Sawadaen Co., Ltd. is a long-established tea company in Kagoshima since 1946. We sell our own processed and manufactured products wholesale to famous local retailers. Our company is located in Kagoshima Prefecture which is in the south of Japan and has a subtropical, specifically mild environment with maximum sunlight intensity,in addition to rich mineral soil thanks to Kagoshima volcanic ash. This makes it a good place to grow tea. Tea grown in Kagoshima Prefecture is shipped directly to areas all over Japan and foreign countries. We buy the rough tea and process it into various teas, including sencha, deep steamed tea, hojicha, genmaicha, matcha, and gyokuro. We are also certified to FSSC 22000, Organic JAS and FDA. Our company has deep ties with farmers in Kagoshima, and the president Masayoshi Sawada is willing to go to the production area himself to witness tea production and work with farmers on new challenges.
